The Conservation Voters of South Carolina have endorsed Scott Talley’s campaign for SC Senate District 12.

“Talley is a native South Carolinian running for State Senate District 12 in Spartanburg and Greenville Counties against Senator Lee Bright. Talley supports common-sense efforts to protect the natural resources of South Carolina. As a former State Representative, he has a proven track record of effectively leading on issues important to everyday South Carolinians.

In comparison, Talley’s opponent, Senator Lee Bright, scored a 0% on CVSC’s 2011-2012 Legislative Scorecard, and was the lowest scoring Senator on the CVSC’s 2013-2014 Scorecard. Bright is a fringe voice and obstructionist in the Senate on matters important to every South Carolinian.”
